Links to online learning websites

Hi everyone, Below is a list of websites families can use at home for extra practice on core subject areas. Please have a look and see which websites work best for you. Until the CBE determines how we will proceed, it is important for students to be reading, writing, and practicing basic math skills. Try to spend some time each day working on each three. Please keep checking the blog and email. As soon as there is more information for families, the CBE and/or Taradale School will let families know. I will follow up with blog posts passing along any pertinent information. Please stay safe, everyone. NEW Field Trip Forms - oops!

We discovered a printing error on the field trip forms that were sent home on Thursday, so we re-printed and sent new forms home today. Please make sure you are signing the forms that are 5 sides long. Also, please bring $7 for our field trip. Monday is Orange Shirt Day - please wear orange or your favourite shirt. We mark this day each year in order to remember the survivors of residential schools. Our assembly is on Tuesday October 1 at 1:30 pm. Your writing prompt for this weekend is: Why do we have Orange Shirt Day? Do you think it's important? How does it make you feel?

At Home Learning for April 20-24

Good morning everyone, I hope you've all had a safe and happy weekend! The warmer weather has definitely got me feeling better. At home learning for April 20-24 is now life on the Taradale School website. It can be accessed here: http://school.cbe.ab.ca/school/taradale/about-us/news-centre/_layouts/ci/post.aspx?oaid=f345b278-4e11-41b2-a882-a93164f86f06&oact=20001 Thank you to everyone who made contact last week and to students who forwarded me their work. Just a reminder that students should try to engage in this work for approximately an hour each day. How you schedule that hour is up to your family. Please do what works best for you. Again, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know and I'll do my best to get back to you quickly. Have a great week, everyone!
