Picking Up Student Belongings

Good morning everyone,

Next week you will have the opportunity to pick up your child's belongings from the school. Teachers have gathered and labelled each student's belongings, and they have been placed outside of classrooms.

In order to minimize the number of people in the building, we are asking that only one parent comes to the school, and that students do not come with parents. If this is not possible and students have to come because of childcare arrangements, then we understand.

The schedule for picking up belongings is:

·         Monday, June 22                    Last Name       A - F

·         Tuesday, June 23                    Last Name       G - K

·         Wednesday, June 24               Last Name       L - R

·         Thursday, June 25                   Last Name       S - Z

Parents may come to the school between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM.

Thank you very much for coming to the school on your scheduled day. 

If you are not available on your scheduled day, please phone the school to schedule an alternate time.

NEW Field Trip Forms - oops!

We discovered a printing error on the field trip forms that were sent home on Thursday, so we re-printed and sent new forms home today. Please make sure you are signing the forms that are 5 sides long. Also, please bring $7 for our field trip. Monday is Orange Shirt Day - please wear orange or your favourite shirt. We mark this day each year in order to remember the survivors of residential schools. Our assembly is on Tuesday October 1 at 1:30 pm. Your writing prompt for this weekend is: Why do we have Orange Shirt Day? Do you think it's important? How does it make you feel?

At Home Learning for April 20-24

Good morning everyone, I hope you've all had a safe and happy weekend! The warmer weather has definitely got me feeling better. At home learning for April 20-24 is now life on the Taradale School website.
